A cinematic short film project
This gritty, atmospheric war short plunges viewers into the harrowing mindset of a soldier in a morally fractured conflict. Set on a desolate off-world colony marked for extermination, the film explores themes of obedience, conscience, and psychological unraveling. Blending grounded realism with subtle dystopian overtones, we used cinematic visuals, practical effects, and a haunting voiceover to immerse the viewer in both the horror and silence of war.

Shot entirely with a solo crew setup, the film showcases a highly personal filmmaking process — from concept, scripting, and set design to cinematography, VFX, and post-production. Every frame was crafted to carry emotional weight, pushing beyond action to ask: what happens to a man when war is all that’s left?
